Well today I decided it was time to
start blogging. I have never done this
before. There’s a part of me that is
really excited to try something new and there is this other part of me that is
really nervous… I think what if people don’t read my blog, what if they do…
what will they think, and what should I write first. Well I guess it doesn’t
really matter. So I’ll just say a little about me and some of my interests.
I have now been married about six
months. I have a wonderful husband and a great life. Shortly after we were
married I moved from Southern Alberta to Winnipeg. I had always heard that
Winnipeg, or should I say winterpeg was one of the coldest cities in Canada.
It’s true. It’s cold and there is a lot
of snow. Coming from southern Alberta I
am used to being on the prairies what I’m not used to is that there are no
hills anywhere they even have to make structures to toboggan. Something else
that is different is the snow plows in Alberta just have amber lights here they
have blue and amber lights. The thing I
miss most about Alberta is my family. Brandon my little brother is getting
ready to go on a mission and last week he went through the temple for the first
time. I wish I could have been there. But that’s ok you can’t do everything right. I
know that even though Winnipeg is not southern Alberta It’s where I am supposed
to be and It’s home.
On Saturday Mr. Adam ( my husband)
and I painted clay pots for our balcony. It was tons of fun and they turned out
so cute. He painted his all tan and then
he painted yellow, orange, and robin egg blue bricks all over the base, forming
a blue heart in the middle. Mr. Adam is so sweet, he’s such a romantic. Mine
has a blue base with the quote “Plant smiles, Grow Laughter, Harvest Love.” The top is a very cool zebra print that I painted on. I look forward to using them.
Like I said earlier I have never
blogged before. I haven’t read that many
blogs before either so I have no idea how to end….. :S hmmm well it’s not a letter or a phone conversation… hmmm . How’s
this?
Smile often,
jayjay ;)

Janna! That's so cute! I didn't know you guys were all the way in Winnipeg! I thought you were just in Calgary. Good job blogging!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you were in Winnipeg either. I hope you don't mind if I follow your blog. It's a super way to learn about my extended family! So keep blogging--it was great! Love, Aunt Patricia
